1. General

1.1. The website mezuzi.com (hereinafter: "the site") is operated by MEZUZI, business number 314752643 (hereinafter: "the business" or "we").

1.2. The site serves as an online shop selling designed 3D printed mezuzah cases and related Judaica products.

1.3. Browsing the site and making a purchase on it constitute full agreement to the terms of this document. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

1.4. These terms are worded in the masculine for convenience only, and refer to all genders.

1.5. The business may change these terms from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site at the time the order is placed.

2. The products

2.1. The mezuzah cases sold on the site are a decorative item only. They do not include a mezuzah scroll, do not constitute a substitute for a scroll and have no kashrut requirements. The sanctity is in the scroll alone.

2.2. The products are 3D printed to order. There may be slight variations in shade, texture or detail between the product received and the images on the site. Such variations are characteristic of 3D printed manufacturing and are not considered a defect.

2.3. Product images on the site are illustrative. Product dimensions are stated on the product page and prevail over the impression given by the image.

3. Ordering and payment

3.1. Any adult aged 18 or over, holding an active email address and a valid credit card, may place an order.

3.2. Prices on the site are stated in new shekels.

3.3. Payment is processed through a secure payment processor. The business does not store credit card details.

3.4. An order will be considered approved only after approval is received from the credit card company. In the event of refusal, the order will be cancelled.

3.5. The business may cancel an order in the event of an error in the product description or its price, stock running out, or suspicion of fraudulent activity. In such a case the full amount paid will be refunded.

3.6. A receipt will be issued and sent to the customer for every transaction. The business does not issue a tax invoice.

4. Shipping and delivery policy

4.1. Delivery throughout Israel.

4.2. Order preparation time: 2 to 3 business days from payment approval. Products are made to order, so preparation time is required before shipping.

4.3. Shipping is carried out through delivery services in Israel. The available shipping options and their prices are shown at checkout. Estimated shipping time from the moment the parcel is handed to the courier: up to 7 business days.

4.4. Total delivery time is the preparation days plus the shipping days, and will not exceed 14 business days unless stated otherwise on the product page or agreed with the customer in advance.

4.5. Shipping charges are shown at checkout before the order is completed. Shipping promotions and benefits, if any, will be shown on the site and will apply according to their terms.

4.6. Business days do not include Friday, Saturday, eves of holidays and holidays.

4.7. Delays caused by the courier, by an incorrect address supplied by the customer, or by force majeure are not the responsibility of the business.

4.8. It is the customer's responsibility to supply accurate delivery details. A shipment returned due to incorrect details will be resent subject to payment of an additional shipping charge.

5. Cancellation and refunds

5.1. The cancellation policy is subject to the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations. Nothing in these terms derogates from the customer's rights under law.

5.2. Non-personalised products: the transaction may be cancelled within 14 days from the day the product was received or from the day the transaction details document was received, whichever is later. The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused and undamaged.

5.3. Personalised products: products manufactured specifically for the customer to personal order, including embossing of a family name, initials or lettering at the customer's request, cannot be cancelled under section 14C(d)(4) of the Consumer Protection Law. Choosing a colour or a size from the options offered on the site is not considered personalisation for this purpose. The exemption does not apply in cases of a defect in the product or a mismatch between the product supplied and the order.

5.4. Extended cancellation: a person with a disability, a senior citizen aged 65 or over, or a new immigrant may cancel the transaction within four months of the date it was made, provided the engagement included a conversation between the parties, including in writing. The business may request presentation of a suitable certificate.

5.5. Cancellation fee: for a cancellation that is not due to a defect or a mismatch, the business may charge a cancellation fee of 5% of the product price or 100 ILS, whichever is lower.

5.6. Defective product or mismatch: if a defect is found in the product or the product does not match the order, contact us with photographs. In such a case we will replace the product or refund the full amount, including the shipping charge, at the customer's choice. The cost of return will be borne by the business.

5.7. How to cancel: a cancellation notice may be sent by email to hello@mezuzi.com, by WhatsApp message to 050-343-3166, or through the online cancellation form on the site, stating the order number and the name of the person who placed it.

5.8. Returning the product: before sending the product back, please contact us to receive the return address and to coordinate. For a cancellation that is not due to a defect, the cost of return is borne by the customer.

5.9. Refund: the refund will be made through the payment method used for the purchase, within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation notice. There may be a further delay in the credit from the credit card company or the bank.

6. Liability

6.1. The business is responsible for the product supplied being sound, complete and matching its description on the site.

6.2. The business grants a warranty for the soundness of the product for 6 months from the date of its receipt, in respect of manufacturing defects. The warranty does not apply to reasonable wear, damage caused by unreasonable use, faulty installation, prolonged exposure to extreme heat, or breakage as a result of a fall.

6.3. The business makes an effort to ensure that the information presented on the site, including product descriptions, dimensions and prices, is accurate and up to date. Nevertheless, typographical errors or inaccuracies may occur. In such a case the business will be entitled to correct the error and to cancel an order placed on its basis, with a full refund of the amount paid.

6.4. The liability of the business is in any case limited to the amount actually paid for the product. The business will not bear liability for indirect, consequential or special damage.

6.5. Content presented on the site, including blog articles on matters of halacha, custom and tradition, is general information only and does not constitute a halachic ruling or advice. For halachic questions, consult an ordained rabbi.

6.6. The business is not responsible for the content of external sites to which links on the site refer.

6.7. The business works to maintain the availability and proper functioning of the site, but does not undertake continuous and fault free operation. The site may be taken down for maintenance purposes.

7. Intellectual property

7.1. All intellectual property rights in the site, including the designs, the 3D models, the images, the texts, the logo and the name MEZUZI, belong to the business.

7.2. The site's content and models may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, marketed or used commercially without written permission from the business.

8. Privacy

8.1. The business respects the privacy of its customers. The full privacy policy is set out on a dedicated page on the site and forms an integral part of these terms.

9.2. We will endeavour to respond to every enquiry within 3 business days.

10. The site platform

10.1. The site is operated on the Shopify platform. Shopify provides the technological infrastructure only.

10.2. Every transaction is concluded directly between the customer and the business. Shopify is not a party to the transaction and bears no liability whatsoever for the products, the service, the delivery or any damage arising from them.

10.3. Use of the site involves the transfer of information to Shopify and to service providers on its behalf, including servers located outside Israel. Further details are in the privacy policy.

11. Customer content and feedback

11.1. A customer who publishes on the site or sends the business a review, image, suggestion or any other content (hereinafter: "user content") grants the business a licence, unlimited in time and free of charge, to make use of the content, including publishing it on the site and on social networks for marketing purposes.

11.2. The customer declares that the content they provided is theirs, does not infringe the rights of a third party, and does not include offensive, misleading or unlawful content.

11.3. The business may, but is not obliged to, remove or edit user content at its sole discretion.

11.4. The business is not obliged to keep user content confidential, to pay for it or to respond to it.

12. Prohibited uses

12.1. The site may not be used for any unlawful, offensive or misleading purpose.

12.2. Content may not be copied, scraped, extracted or reproduced from the site by any automated means, including bots, crawlers, data collection tools or artificial intelligence agents, without prior written permission from the business.

12.3. Viruses or any malicious code may not be uploaded to the site, and no attempt may be made to circumvent security measures or access restrictions.

12.4. Personal information of other users may not be collected.

12.5. The business may block access to the site for any user who breaches this section, without prior notice.
